Sure, why not jump on the urban homesteading bandwagon? Caitlin and I took a stab at planting some crop today. We’ll let you know in 45 days if our two heads of lettuce manage to sprout. Until then, we’ll be pretty hungry.
Caitlin and I stopped by the Fremont Diner on Fourth of July weekend on our way to go camping at Porter Creek Vineyards. This is the house-cured and smoked pastrami on rye with tarragon potato salad. Along with indigestion, it definitely brought me back to the East Coast for a minute or two.
